My dealer just told me today when I was talking about getting an 09 CVO frt wheel for my RG that metzler came out with a bulletin that 21" tires do not have the load rating for a bagger. I may stick with the 16 or possibly go 18 max.

I lowered mine 1" with progressive springs.

I also added heavier weight fork oil. I did not do the race tech emulators as I was not going to change out the rear shocks.

I have the ride str8 and sta-bo bushings installed.

My SG rides awesome.

The ABS system, if you change the stock rotor wont work, because the sensor or whatever the thing is actually named is mounted to the rotor.
The rotor has nothing to do with ABS. The encoder is in the bearing and the sensor rides between the fork and the bearing. The small sensor Looking thing on the rotor are expansion joints. ABS works just fine with 21/18 wheels. HD is just protecting HD. The brakes on my bike work great and the ABS does too.

Well I only have about 4000mi on Metzler's 880. Handling is great like some of the others said but, In checking tire pressure (how much do you guys run front and rear) noticed I picked up a nail. So I'll be getting a new tire tomorrow, lot of tread left though! (rear)21x18 setup.

Exactly why I wouldn't run a 21 out in the front. For you guys that say the handling has improved or seems sportier I wonder why you don't see race bikes with larger front tires compared to the rear. I agree it might look cool but I think your throwing functionality and safety aside when going with the larger tire in front.

I have a 21front/ stock rear with ABS My Abs Works same as with stock front. I did lower mine 1 3/4 inches to make the bike level out. It you look on the Hog pro website in the gallery look for a 08 black street glide try this link.

I have about 4000 miles on this set up and have no issues with the ABS or the way the bike handles.

I just picked up a set of PM Contrast Cut Torque wheels (21/18). I'm having them installed on Friday. I've been reading through the posts and it seems like there's a 75/25 split on lowering the front end 1". I'm not going to do that right now, which leads me to the question.

By changing to this 21/18 setup, will I no longer be able to drag the floorboards? What's the solution for that?
