Not sure I follow this. What does the rim/tire size have to do with the ABS? My understanding is the ABS sensor is taking the readings from the wheel bearing. As long as the "ABS bearing" is used in the aftermarket wheel, you should be good to go. I know HogPro has pics of aftermarket wheels on ABS bikes in their gallery.

we sell a bunch of wheels sets with 21's, and the tires are a little lower profile, it doesnt raise it much. I sell a lot of the RaceTech and Progressive lowering kits for the front end, they seem to work the best. The ABS system, if you change the stock rotor wont work, because the sensor or whatever the thing is actually named is mounted to the rotor.

Well, as I've said, no question the 21" setup looks killer and I would agree handling and ride quality is good. I don't think the ride quality is as good as the stock 16's, but still a nice ride. I lowered the front 1" with the Race Tech kit and dual valve emulators. Very nice set-up. I've been very pleased.
That said, I just recieved from UPS today my new 18" Czar Eclipse wheels and 140/70-18 Metzeler to go with a matching 18x18 setup. I'm looking for the bagger ride that I bought my first bagger for a few years ago and hoping the fatter 18's provide it. The 21" ride just isn't what I'm looking for in a bagger, plus my taste has shifted more to the fatter bagger look the 18's provide vs the thinner 21" front end. I'm also really looking forward to adding the inch I took out back to the front end, as much or more than anything. I hate lowering bikes.
We'll see how it goes

Is this true??? I read plenty of people that have abs and new rotors. Anyone want to chime in on this.

I just got an 09 SG and was going to do the same thing, but the dealer warned me about the ABS, and it is defined on page 58 of the owners mannual. "Any change to the stock wheel or tire size" will have an adverse effect on the ABS brakes. The module is programed with the total height of the tire and rim together to get a calculated revolution for determing rotation speed. the sensor is at the bearing level, but the total size of the tire does matter in the calculation

I will for sure Ice. Now I'm really feeling the need to add the 2" bag extensions to go with the dual 18's
Sure would like to find a competent local DFW body shop that has done these, install and paint.
