Willie G came to my dealership last friday, He was signing everything for everyone. I asked him to sign a 105th Anniversary vest that was given to me as a gift. Then I said what the heck.... Sign my bike, it's only paint. Willie and his wife Nancy are real down to earth people. Wish I couls have meet him on a smaller scale and had a real conversation with them .
Ol'e Willey signed some "Harley Money" for me back in the mid '90's. Still have it..should be worth something in a hundred years. I'm gonna take it and buy a 200th anniversary (2103) dresser. Wonder what the colors will be??
Willie rode into Dayton today. F&S H-D had a big to-do about him coming. Live band, food, drink etc... Willie must not have felt up to it because when he got there he walked around a bit then went upstairs to the office's. When he came back down he signed for about a half hour then he left soon after. Quite a few pissed off people left standing in line waiting for him to sign fenders, tour pak lids, tanks, babies(lol). I'd like to meet him but it wasn't a big deal for me. He has a cool bike, 105th anniversary edition 08 sg #1 off the line. I was just glad to see that he rides what he sells.
