Default Pics of the Kurykn switchblade pegs/boards installed?

I had the ISO stirrups on my RK. I think the switchblade will look really nice on my SG. Anyone have pics of them installed? Hard to get a sense of how big they are from the pic on their site. Trying to find a peg w/heel rest that will compliment the style of the SG boards...

Here's a set installed.

I'm not totally sure I like the stirrup part of this. I have not been able to get them tight enough to keep them from spinning when I try to use them.

I had the same problem w/my iso stirrups. Some locktight and really cranking on the bolt will hold them in place. I'm 6'4" 230lbs and could put my full body weight on the heel rest to shift position and it would not move after cranking it down. How do you like them otherwise? Do they seem to make any rattle or does the retractable portion feel cheap in any way?

Functionally, they are fine. As far as rattle goes, now that I understand them there is no issue. THere is a spring loaded check ball that locks them in the up or down position and properly adjusted, they are fine.

I have the Switchblades installed on my RK Classic. I had some issues with mine but that was due to the HD 360 mount I used. I ended up having to install a set screw to keep the mount from rotating under my heel pressure. The Switchblade themselves have a hidden bolt that will tighten down and keep them from rotating.

Here is a link to a page I made with pics and a diagram of what happened with my setup:

Switchblade Pegs

Let me know if you have any questions.

I installed the Switchblades on my Ultra last year. I really like the versitility of these pegs. Once properly adjusted (seemed to take weeks of trials) they are awesome. I can use the heel support, or not, and ether way, iget a change of leg position so I don't get so tired of sitting in one place all day while riding.

Installed thier adjustable passenger pegs yesterday, will post a report on them after we try them on a few rides.

Nice pics, that was exactly what I was looking for. How come you used the HD swivels rather than the clamshell clamps that come with the pegs? Also, can you extract the heel rest by hitting a button with your foot or do you need to be stopped in order to pull it out with your hands?

You can easily open them w/ the toe of your boot.

OK, checking out their site, it looks like I'll need a different mount to use it with the crash bars...which mount to use?

I’m also curious about what mounts to use. I just ordered the switchblades themselves (Kuryakyn part number 4445) and will try to figure out what mounts I need when I get them. I wasn’t sure if I would want something to bring them closer to the boards or not. I’m 5’9” tall and didn’t want to be reaching for them.
