I just ordered mine. I didn't go with the switchblades..I went with the Pilot Pegs with heelrest instead because of their swept back design. They are similar to the Switchblades though. I got the universal clamp mounts. They have many diff setups though to move things closer for shorter riders, I'm 6'4" so I shouldn't have a problem!

I just recently installed the switchblades on my RG with the KA Longhorn offset mounts p/n 7986 (it's difficult to see the Longhorns in the pic below). My inseam is only 30" so had to bring the pegs back to me. Tested them out last weekend (100 miles) and found them to be a nice alternative to the floorboards. Combined with the longhorn offsets they are infinitely adjustable (as oppossed to just mounting to crash bar). The right switchblade when deployed rattles and is loosy goosy. This is a manufacturing fitment defect between the two pieces. I need to take it apart and add another wave washer or two to tighten it up. Also, and I believe it was mentioned, there is a hidden set screw that allows you to "lock" the switchblade into position if one desires. And as mentioned, you have to torque the hell out of all the adjustments to get them to stay put. I went and looked at the H-D 360 swivel mount (made by KuryA), while perhaps a bit prettier, it is not as adjustable as the longhorns. I also replaced the large ss hex head bolt on the crash bar clamps with chrome allen cap bolts ($3each), nice improvement. Switchbaldes and Longhorns cost me $171 shipped (online).

If anyone wants additional views I could take some more pics...

Looks good, so you have both the SB and the LH pegs?

On a side note, how's your radio w/the choppy antenna? That' s the stock on cut right?

[sm=signs007.gif] To both. Cut it down to 21", no problem with reception, YMMV.
