There have been quite a few threads on this subject. After reading most of them I was never was able to figure out if they worked or just looked good.
Maybe someone out there has the final answer.

A friend has a Road Glide and he put one on his. He loved the looks, but finally had to go back to the stock windshield because of wind buffeting. He is 6'2" tall.

Friend of mine has one on his Road Glide too. He doesn't feel it is any better than stock, just looks better.

I really like the looks, but the price is a little steep unless that baby does an incredible job in deflecting the wind...

Looks good on a RG. But the stock windshield gave much more protection. I had one for 300 mile and took it off. If you really bought a touring bike to ride. KW not the way to go. and if you don't believe me wait till you get caught in some weather. When I sold my KW I told the person what I did not like about it He bought it any way. Then he called me after he put it on and got to ride the bike and he said that he fond the same problems with it. But he REALLY liked the look of it on the bike. (As I said it looks GREAT on a RG.) He was willing to change the windshields back and FORTH

Definitely looks great on the Road Glide, but you have to understand what you're buying. This windscreen does not give me a calm pocket at all. It deflects the wind around my shoulders and torso terrifically, but not so much around the helmet. In my case, it eliminated the buffeting that I got with the stock windshield and the -1" Clearview, and gave me clean airflow at the helmet - just what I was looking for. If you're planning on spending long days in the saddle at freeway speeds, it's probably not going to be as comfortable as you would like. But for backroad two-lane touring, it's terrific.

My bud bought the 8" for his RG and hated it, then he had the 12" installed in Sturgis an likes it much better. I have the SG version at 6.5" and it's an awesome shield. Both lok killer!
