It does pretty good in the rain also, we ran through some very HEAVY showers today and i was surprised how a short windshield did that much good. Still a lot of wetness, but it was POURING !

I'm very happy.

After a few weeks with my new short WS I have decided not to get a taller one. I REALLY enjoy being able to actually SEE (I hated looking right at that top line of the OEM UC windshield). Great idea.

What is the height of the one on your bike?

Mine is a 10" and I'm 5'9" tall. I look over the windshield.

I ordered 2 of these in anticipation of my new bike arriving, put a 9" light tint, on today. I am 5'11, there is almost no wind from the side, just hits the top of my hemet, cant feel anthing without the helmet on. Stereo sounds graet at 85. I will get the 10" half moon next time round, also bought a dark tint 7" for when I am just cruising round tow to look cool. Had them cut the harley slots but realized it was not needed, as the install took 2 minutes. Great product great customer service and price, will buy a 10" er tonight.

I prefer the half moon for looks, but I haven't ridden with the flat top models.

hey bigskyhd,

I may have to try one of the flattops, but really like the looks of the half moon, also. It does a great job. I can't believe how much it helps the stereo! I was thinking of getting some Hogtune speakers, now, I don't know. :-) It sounds pretty good.
