I think I might get a 10" one for longer trips. Now I don't like the stock one at all and the 8" I have lets a little bit of buffeting hit my helmet. Nice for around town but when I go cross-country I want a bit taller.

I am 5'11", and the 10" works very well for me, the best part is the wife noticed the difference right away.

Would I buy one again? Yes. But I might go with an 11" next time.

Ive had one as well, they are great and do help with wind/rain. I have the 8" dark smoke. The owners are absloutly GREAT to work with as well.

After read'in even more positive replies about this shield, I decieded to order a 14" clear mar resistant flat top as well as the 11" drk tint and the ultra blk wings. Seems like a long time answer for a couple problems with protection and sound.....

all I can say is that if you are disappointed I would venture to guess that it would be your own fault.
The only thing I can think of is that your shield might be too tall, and it won't feel like riding a bike anymore.

And by the way, I'm 6' 2" so I think these two sizes would be a good choice. Thanks for the heads up on the Dakota site, I got them confussed at first too. robindae@earthlink.net is the site I ordered from.

I got one too, and the folks are really, really great. They sell on ebay, and their called half moon wings.... Just key in FLHX windshield in the search, and they'll come up. Oh, and the other nice thing, they will ANY SIZE you want at no extra charge. I had them cut me a 7 1/2", and I love it. Tell em Craig from Montana sent you.
