I ordered the 10.5" moon light smoke tint with mar resistance yesterday evening, got email this evening that it has been cut and shipped Priority Mail. Guess I'll get by Tuesday, we shall see how nice they are in person.

well i can finally add mine to the list. i ordered it about two weeks before my bike came in. as soon as i rode it home i threw it on. here's some pics...

10" halfmoon wings lite tint is on it now. it seems to work great so far and is just the right height for me for cooler weather. i do look through it if i have to so im thinking ill order either a 7" or 8" dark tint in another few weeks. i can lift my head atleast two inches and not have airflow smack me in the head so i should be able to go shorter and darker for the cool factor.

[QUOTE=Bill03E;3778452]I am sorry, but the Dakota Shelds are not the people who make the half moon wings.
The people I bought mine off of are very good, and have awesome customer s

I agree. The folks you're talking about are GREAT! Super nice, very friendly, helpful, and considerate. They'll cut any size you want AT NO EXTRA COST!! I had them cut me a 7 /2" and I couldn't be more pleased. Except that I will get the mar resistant model next time. With the windshield bag, it has a tendency to scratch....

I took 2 of the round hole punchouts from the new shield gasket they sent and stuck them on the back of the windshield pouches where it hit the shield. Solved the scratching problem and cut the pouch vibration way down at idle. I have the light tint and the dots are barely visible from the front.

I've put about 400 miles on mine in the last three weeks, in weather from 30-60 degrees. The design keeps more wind off the hands, and I think helps a little with the sound out of the front speakers. It's like any mod out there, you don't really notice how dorky some HD's stock items are until you put a better looking item on.

I like mine alot. They answered a lot of questions for me before buying, and even custom cut my size and shipped out the very next day. Quality is very nice.

Cool

i couldn't agree more about the friendliness. everyone on here that say they are nice people are absolutely right in my book. i called the number to order mine a few weeks ago. i got robin on the phone but she said she couldn't take credit card payment over the phone. so, 47 minutes later if i remember correctly, we got off the phone. what a conversation piece!! i can't remember everything we talked about.

a couple days later i finally got around to ordering it. i sent robin an email to make sure i did it right and she called me back promptly to let me know she got the order and it would be taken care of.

ill definitely order another one a couple inches shorter and darker here in a few weeks.
