There again if you are inseam challenged the 09 will test your limits. I am not disappointed in buying my 08 ultra. Besides no two tone red for this year either!

If I was buying right now...........it would be the '09. Just a ton of improvements that make it far superior to the '08 and earlier bikes.

Get the ABS option, get the security option, and enjoy the ride.

Honda first offered ABS on the 1992 Honda ST1100. So they have been at it quite a while. Heck, most autos didn't have ABS even available back then. And Honda waited for the redesigned 2001 Honda Goldwing 1800 to offer ABS on that bike. So they didn't copy BMW. I also don't believe BMW offers an airbag on any of their bikes.

Rode an 09, first impression: don't like the seat height, still feels like your in 2nd gear when rolling off a dead stop. Keep your ABS I don't need em. Harley redesigned their frame cuz the tri-glide.

It would depend on price difference. The frame change makes no difference to me, I have never owned a Harley that had the stock exhaust so I don't care about that, what else is there? I would be very disappointed if they have in fact changed the final gearing as 6th gear on my 08 is perfect on the highway at 70-75 which is where I usually ride.

Brother, It's like a car .the new model will have some things the old one won't, and it's brand new. Go buy the 09 and ride the wheels off it! It's after all a Harley, each year has plus and minus.
