Two more pleasant 09 surprises

Thanks for the advice. My bike is a top notch cream puff I bought new but I have put 38k miles on it. Stealer only want to give me 7800 and Kelley Blue Book was 8800.
Just saw a posting for a guy in Fl that traded a 03 Ultra and the dealer gave him 12.5 which is 2000 over the 10.5 in KBB. He purchased an 09 RoadGlid and only had to give 9k difference.
I might need a trip to Fl.

I normally run 10 psi in my 08 Ultra for me and the wife. The ride is fantastic. On our last trip I pumped it up to 20 psi just to see how I liked it rode great. I see no reason for me to run any more air but I suppose I should try some other settings before deciding.
To some of the other posters...no matter which bike you buy, there is always something better. Jump on the model year whenever you can and get out and experience the wind. Bottom line, no matter what year you are riding its still a Harley and the experience is what its all about. I have friends who still ride EVOs and won't even think about a new one. I have another friend who rides an 02 because of the Timken. Regardless, when we are traveling together, we are all experiencing the same stuff and seeing the same sights. Years later its not the TBW, brembos, frame, or technology we remember or talk about. Its the experiences we had together and the adventures that come from traveling on a bike.
Don't get caught up in the hype and marketing. Buy what you can afford and get in the wind.

Backrest is the same. You just need a new bracket. $30. (order it now, they are supposedly still hard to get and in short supply.. they tell me I lucked out) The front mounting point is also MUCH less mickey mouse than before.
You will note in the catalog, that the backrests are now sold separately from the brackets.
