I might need a trip to Fl.
Not the same thing but a few years back a friend in San Diego wanted a new Mini Cooper S as a toy, he flew to Tennasee and saved almost $7000, last stop on the way home was the stealer in San Diego. You need to shop around, I'm near London England, when I changed my Heritage for an FLHT in 06 there was $6000 difference on the deal between two local dealers. The one I bought from got an extra 14 bike sales from doing me the right deal.

I normally run 10 psi in my 08 Ultra for me and the wife. The ride is fantastic. On our last trip I pumped it up to 20 psi just to see how I liked it rode great. I see no reason for me to run any more air but I suppose I should try some other settings before deciding.

To some of the other posters...no matter which bike you buy, there is always something better. Jump on the model year whenever you can and get out and experience the wind. Bottom line, no matter what year you are riding its still a Harley and the experience is what its all about. I have friends who still ride EVOs and won't even think about a new one. I have another friend who rides an 02 because of the Timken. Regardless, when we are traveling together, we are all experiencing the same stuff and seeing the same sights. Years later its not the TBW, brembos, frame, or technology we remember or talk about. Its the experiences we had together and the adventures that come from traveling on a bike.

Don't get caught up in the hype and marketing. Buy what you can afford and get in the wind.

You will note in the catalog, that the backrests are now sold separately from the brackets.
ww1flyingace, do you have a part number for this new back rest bracket. I need to up grade mine too. And hey! Some of us here appreciate you keeping us "informed". Keep up the good work brother!

Here is the P/N you can look up on their site, first item in the backrest section for the 09 UC.
