he's just afraid of running over the cones. Thinks he might drop it. 8-)

I don't think size really matters (yea, right, just ask the ladies!) I'm no expert by any stretch of the imagination, but it's all in the balance. as you can see him shifting his weight to the opposite side when he's turning. I know, I know....it's more than that, but practice makes anyone good.

This New Orleans cop used the front engine guards to turn sharp. He would lay the bike down on the guard, touch the front brake, which made the rear wheel hop to the left a little. Notice how he is sitting up on the tank. He won the competition (again)

I have heard of guys using garden hose and duct tape to protect their guards while practicing tight turns.

Alas....another use for duct tape....and a busted garden hose. Gives you a reason to practice slow maneuvers.

Took a course called ride like the police. It was alot like ride like a pro and was tought by 4 motor cops. All of us put the bikes on the ground aleast 15 times the first day. On the second day we could all run the cones just like the ride like a pro video. its all about slipping the clutch and riding the rear brake. All of us were on dressers and on our own bikes. Let me tell you, it was the best money I ever spent and today I'm a far better rider for it. Do it if you ever get the chance!
