I rode to Sturgis and back with my 08 RG with SE 103 stage II kit -- 5400km -- got between 40 and 50mpg U.S. depending on hills and wind direction. Probably averaged about 42-43.

I rode to Sturgis from Cleveland, OH and only got 25 MPG at 75 to 80 MPH on level roads. I have an '05 Ultra with Big Bore Kit to 95" with HD 257 Cams, 10.5:1 Pistons, HD CNC Ported Heads, and Dyno at 100 HP. I thought I should get better than this.

I think you should also, I would have the map looked at either the a/f is real rich or the timing is off or both. You should get atleast 40 mpg and retain your power, diffrent areas of the map and yes you can have both!

I get low 40's consistantly with my build and Ive been known to twist the thorotle some.

I agree that the tune is off. I normally get 47 mpg on the Hwy. Hell I got 32 mpg yesterday towing a 370 lb trailer.

This is not what I want to hear. The thing that has been keeping me from getting a 103 stage 2 kit is the thought that my MPG would go down. I daily commute to work and I hate to give any more money to big oil. Now I hear it doesn't change that much! The forum is really starting to cost me money!! DAMMIT!!!
