If you can weld or have a friend who is a welder, it is easy to modify the mounts to move them forward. I did that on mine 2". I also extended the shift lever 2 1/4" and the brake pedal 2". I moved the boards out 1". Took about two hours to do everything and it has really make for a more comfortable ride.

I would like to move my brake outward away from the bike, my leg really has trouble bending
around the air cleaner.
any know of a pedal with more of a bend?

Remove the pedal and bend it to the position you desire.

I have the HD footboard pans that move them forward one inch and the Kury mount extenders that move them out 3/4 inch. These gave me the extra room I was looking for. The Kury extenders cause the footboards to scrape a little earlier in sharp curves than stock, but it was a reasonable trade-off for me.

Yes,they will scrape if you ride agressive. My floorboard mounts scraped unitl they wore down and now my chrome floorboard is scrapping.I still think moving the floorboards out 1" helps in comfort so I'll just replace my floorboards when they get too bad.
