Oh.... GOD!!!!!! Please DON't DO IT!!!!! I bought my '05 Road King Classic new in April of '05 and had some nice engine work done, replaced the very uncomfortable stock seat with a Saddleman Explorer seat. The problem you will have is that you'll never get anything done..... because you'll always be riding that sweet, comfortable, classic Road King. If you're alright with being hypnotized into riding every chance you get, then get it! I don't have as many miles on mine as some, 24,352, but I am still under it's power 101hp / 107tq to ride as much as I can. Awe, heck.... just do it and have fun!!!

 

I love my '04. In July I did 4,166 over 10 days and that included leaving it parked in my parent's driveway for two solid days and the trip home from Corvallis, OR to Vegas in a straight shot (987 miles and 16.5 hours).
