Default Touring Front Lowering Kit on Street Glide

Does anyone know if the HD Touring Front Lowering Kit (#54628-06) can be installed on a Street Glide? I am short and want to get the best footing possible.

It is my understanding that the rear shocks are already the low profile version, so that would not be an option.

Thanks, John

You can actually go to a 11.5" (Progressive 440's) shock in the rear as someone else did on their RK and I personally wouldn't lower the front more as I have scraped both florrboards the first 2 days. Try looking at the REACH seat from HD that is supposed to help the vertically challenged.

I am 5'6" and Yes, I had that installed on my FLHTCI - which is the same as yours.. I also have the same rear shocks... it does help... Not a job that I could do... required a special tool that I did not have and after watching.. I am glad I did not try it... I am not sure where you live,,, but If you are in CA or FL... I would suggest a 'ride in appt" at Corbin.. they will build you a seat to fit both your butt and short legs (I have short legs) anyway.. great way to get a custom seat but just for you and it is all done while you wait... Heck, if you are close to Modesto... I will let you ride my bike... great way to try it all out...

Thanks, all!

And I did just get a Corbin with a "nose job". It definitely helps my reach. I am prett close to flat footed, but another inch would help.
