How do y'all mount a Valentine One on a 2005 Ultra. Anyone got good pictures or suggestions? Thanks.

I used a SlipStreamer mount on the handle bars. The detector can see through fairing or windshield. I also used a detector with built in compass. [Not much help against Lasers though.]

 

Isn't it pretty difficult to "skin paint" a scoot on rader? There isn't all that much metal on a bagger, so I gotta wonder id radar really trips on a scoot?

They got you before you even know it. All a radar detector does is let you know they got you a few seconds before they pull you over. I use what came with my ride, it's called a SPEED - O - METER. Save your $$$$$ for something better and more practical. Just my .02.

 

I agree with you there. If its "instant on" or lazor and they're on you...your done. But if its painting a few cars in front of you You might have a chance to slow down enuff to slip by.
Not that I'd be going fast enough to worry.....
