Just noticed the "rotation arrows" on the new front tire I had insalled on my '07 EGC are pointing counter to a forward rotation. Is this a big deal, or should I just plan on going everywhere in reverse, which will be both slow & tiring.
Think of it in rain terms. Treads are designed to pump water AWAY from the center of the tire or contact patch. If the tread is reversed, it will pump water INTO the center of the contact patch making it very easy to lift that tire off the pavement. Change it right away, talk with the service manager about it and then never go there again
should be changed at no cost 2 you and I would look for another shop, heck if the drawing with the arrow did not guide them I would hate to have them do something involved like walk and chew gum at the same time.
