Default ignition switch

Hey everyone, This is my first post and my first harley,just one question I have an 06 flht does the switch lock in off or just the fork it just seems the switch should lock too.

You turn the ignition to the lock position to lock the forks. You then have to put the key in the ignition and turn it to lock in order to lock it so no one can turn the ignition switch Did I confuse you, cuz you confused me.

To expand upon that, you can basically turn your bike on and off and lock the forks without ever using the key. However, anyone else can too unless you actually lock the ignition.

Read the owners manual, ride the bike, read it one more time, ride forever.. Its easy
