I talked with Jamie at fuel/moto, a while back, about the fly-by-wire. He told me full throttle isn't achieved with the FBW, until around 3000 rpm. He told me the exact rpm, but I can't remember. I just remember it being within a couple hundred of 3000.

 

Well that is good for you as many with 07 bikes are upgrading and dealers don't want to give them much for trafe-in. I think you could pick up an 07 with extras pretty reasonable compared to a new 09 which then you have to put your add ons. Swapping bikes with ridin buddies and I don't notice any difference in the throttle- If it were me and I could afford the 09 there would be no question. The larger rear tire and stiffer swingarm is enough then add the 6 gallon tank. No way I would go the 07 unless the deal was real sweet or I just did not have the $. ------------Rethy
