well here in montreal its costing me $600 for my streetglide, but, BUT !
the registration was 418$ this year, will be $580 next year and $758 by 2010,
and thats all up from $320 in 2006.....so we are gettin gouged too....i know that dosent make you feel any better, but i feel better for ranting.... (its all about me) hehehe

I'm with Road Wings. They only insure over 30, they like harleys, but no sport bikes.

It's worth a call.

I think Manitoba is the worst, followed closely by Ontario. My 07SG is about $2000 in Mb and my sportbike is even more. Saskatchewan and Alberta are cheap by comparison.(1/4 to 1/3 of the cost, or less)

And like Gzrglide said, we have NO CHOICE here if you want to ride.

 

Just got my renewal for Sept. 22 in the mail. Not exactly sure what it was last year, but I know it's was down from the year before and down from the year before that.
I'll chack , but arount $700 rings a bell.
The renewal I just recieved was $1,100.
I think it's time to shop.

 

I pay $700 for 7 months of BASIC ICBC insurance, here in BC Canada, and an additional nearly $600 for an annual policy from Beacon Insurance covering fire, theft and collision, on a 2008 RG valued at $29000 (slightly worked...)

so 7 months riding = $1300.

 

Here in the lower 48? What company are you with?

 

$920 a year for 07 RKC insured for 30T. Echelon Ins. through riders plus.

I pay $854.00 total per year for an 08' SG and 05' Custom FatBoy with extra coverage. I'm in Florida so they might charge a little more cause we ride all year here.

 

$212.00 a year for replacement coverage, State Farm Insurance.
