Back in the 60's my father had a flh with 21 individual tail lights and 4 lights on the front fender bracket 6 stop lights

 

Hve you ever been mistaken for a low flying UFO?

 

Not the most but definately cool lights!

 

Have any of you thought, why on earth do I need these many lights? Maybe it is taking away from the natural beauty of my HD designed motorcycle?

I'm more of a fan of simple, with loud pipes. Loud pipes I've found get peoples attention more than lights, although lights look neat in a parade.

My yellow sharknose has 160 purple LED's. 30 under each saddlebag rail, 20 under each floorboard and a pair of 30's inside the fairing from the turn signal pods to the center. We glow!

 

got me, SG with a headlight, two turn signals, and fog lamps, oh yeah plus the three lights on the back, got me beat by a couple of thousand candlepower

Get rear ended one time and I think you might start to understand.
One itty bitty smoked tail light ain't gonna cut it in the real world.
