Default Grip Glue slipping on Harley Heated Grip

Noticed my right Harley heated gripseemed to slipping off. Today it seemed to be out almost a 1/4", thought it was time to look at it cause that kinda concerned me since the Throttle by wire gear is under the end of the grip. Hubby was able to push it back on.

Turned out the glue on the outer shell seems to be slipping but the under part was just fine. Maybe its the heat out here.....bike can sit in 100 plus degrees quite a bit.

Hey Rose,I use Gorilla glue.Sand the surface, wipe down with accetone to remove any oils and apply glue.Let it set over night and you should be good to go.
