Default Stereo Controls

Hi...

I am new to the forum and first just wanted to say that I love this forum....very informative. I did a search about adding a fairing (Hoppe, Quadzilla) fairing to my 03 RK, I haven't decided with fairing I am going to get, but my question is about stereo equipment. First, is there any headunits out there that have any type of handle bar controls and second I just wanted to get some ideas of what type of stereo equipment are some of you using on your bikes. Pictures would be a great help also!

Thanks
Kevin

Default RE: Stereo Controls

The local dealer has the factory stereo handlebar controls and wire harness.
BikeTronics has the Sony or Pioneer radio that will work with the factory handelbar controls, cost hundreds less than the factory radio and works better.
Hoppe Has the fairing with four 6.25" speakers.

No pics, but on my '89 I run a Pioneer deck am/fm/cd/mp3 and four J&M 4.25" speakers. 2 in the stock location and 2 that I modified the inner fairing to fit. The older glides can't run bigger than 4.25" speakers without having to do major mods to the inner fairing. With the four speakers it kicks ***, so no worries...
