On the way to Sturgis this year had a dude pass us pulling a cycle trailer who later got tagged down the road for doing 115 mph in a 65mph zone. We ran into him at a gas station up the way and he seemed to think it was a big joke. I was surprised they didn't book him for that much over the limit and tow his vehicle. He mumbled something about $600 and took off in the same big hurry again. In my opinion those kind of people are a threat in some way to everyone on the road. I doubt that fines or imprisonment will ever stop those kind of people from doing what they do however.

jbob: Agree. These idiots that drive recklessly are a threat to all vehicles....double that for m/c's. I'm not talking about going 10 or 15 over the limit....it's the 20+ over the limit and changing lanes so they can pass the cars that are driving at a reasonable speed. The mental midgets that are doing wheelies at high speed on their crotch rockets have the same mentality when they are in cars.

I am against making new laws since the old ones are not enforced to begin with.

As a 25 year LEO and counting, I agree about making new laws! Besides, we can't catch these guys now unless they wreck out or give up so I doubt this law, as stiff as it is, will change their behaviour much.
