Default i assume........

that the battery is dead in my security fob. lights flash and no start. but operates fine with my spare fob. so can i change this battery myself? is there anything to be programmed??anyone know what battery i need???

Change your battery once a year, twice if you want to be safe that you won't be stuck. Yes, you can change it, pop the back off and pop in new battery. You don't need to program it, just swap the battery

Panasonic 2032 or equivalent. Positive side down. You can start your Ultra without the fob. Just run the security code using your turn signal switches. You will have to run the code each time you start it but you can ride down to get new batteries-beats walking.

Wow, it's been 7 years. I'd better hurry up and change them.
Home Depot sells them. It's the same battery in the garage door opener.

too easy. local parts house had em. 3.98 for a pair. switched em both out. thanks again. shudder to think what the dealer charges. LOL
