Default Plug for Fairing Mounted Mirror Removal

I'm going to put some WILD 1 CHUBBY# WO575's on my '06 FLHTCI, and I've heard that this will make my fairing mounted mirrors useless. If this is true, I'll put the stock mirrors back on.

Does anyone know of a plug for the hole left in the inner fairing when the mirrors are removed?

Had the same issue never found plugs so I used it as an excuse to order a new color matched inner fairing.

Try some of these screw/bolt/hole caps.

I used some of those to plug front license plate holder screw holes on my car. Work like a charm.

Hello Dan-T-Man; If you move your mirrors back, do you want to sell the fairing mirrors? Or, trade for the regular mirrors I have? Thanks.....

I got my plugs at Lowe's. They have all sizes and it's almost a perfect color match. 4 of them cost me about $2.

Auto Zone Chrysler/Ford Panel retainers.Part #963-060.
A little electrical tape wrapped around the shank for sizing.
Covers both holes

Same bars on my '08. Great choice. Actually I didn't find that they made that huge of a difference with my fairing mount mirrors. See more of my knuckles but still very usable. Still the best mirrors I've ever had on a bike.
