I currently use a Gel and foam pad and love it, I am going to be sending my seat to mean City cycle to have the seat redone and will include the Gel insert.

I bought a LePera seat for my shovel about five years ago and had them add the gel insert when I bought it. What a difference it made! I would do it again but have no problems with the stock seat on the new bike, but I also don't mind getting back on the shovel now and then knowing I won't have those "hot" spots.

I had a LePera seat with gel on my Softail and I personally did not like it.The seat was harder and I felt more vibration on it.I put a Mustang seat on and I was happy again. You could always get the gel pad that go on top of your seat to see if you like it or not. They're easy on and easy off.

I had a gel insert installed in my 86 FLH about 9 years ago and love it. In fact, it made such an favorable impression, this year in Sturgis I had a gel pad installed in the seat of my 07 Ultra.

You can "feel" the favorable difference!

Had the Gel insert covered in memory foam done on my 97 RK on a HD lowprofile seat. Got rid of the pressure points and was able to ride all day. I would recommend it.
