G'day all, not the most significant problem I've encountered so far but a pita never the less. I have HD Lizard print grips 56596-02A on my Street Glide, I've skulled up with the derby cover, timing cover etc and also purchased Skull end caps 56658-00 for the grips which should fit going by the accessories book.

Anyway I can't get the end caps to fit the grips, it appears that the barbs on the end caps aren't deep enough to engage the grips. Any one else had this problem, or more importantly is there a fix or am I just over looking the obvious?
