Default FLH Seat saga

Well here's how the story goes.
1) Stock seat on my Ultra was way too cramped swapped it out in two weeks for ...
2) HD Tallboy seat - that was fine till I went on a long ride - got wicked pains in the *** after
a couple of long days in the saddle
3) Then tried the Saddleman Road Sofa, I liked the firm saddle but it wasn't exactly what I was looking for.

Does the Corbin Dual Tour move the rider back, down, up???
How do the taller riders like the fit. I'm looking to get more leg room.

Thanks,
Charlie

I'm 6'6" and bought the C&C solo. It moved me down an inch and back 2 inches. It was an extra cost, but well worth it. You might want to call C&C and talk to them. I also bought the accutonix forward controls and now I love the fit of the bike. with the FCs and seat the handlebars are at the perfect height and reach so no need to change them. BTW: I thought about a corbin but decided that it wasnt for me. It's tough deciding. hope you find what works best for you.

Thanks for the info. I'm 6'2'' and don't really need the forward controls, just looking for some information from Corbin Dual Tour owners.

try the "rallyrunner" from Harley. I'm 6'1 220 and the rallyrunner suits me fine. It's nice looking and sits you back and lower a few inches.

The Corbin seats are great. If you go to their website or call Sergio in Daytona you can get all the details. The seat will lower you just a little and move you back. Get their rider backrest and you'll be set !!! I'm 6'3" and wouldn't ride with anything else. This is just my 2 cents worth !! Good quality leather and you can customize it with different patterns/stitching for the same price.

I just put a Corbin Dual Tour on my '08 Street Glide. It is the best seat I have had. I used a Mustang Vintage on my Street Bob and it was a good seat but nothing like the Corbin. The only other seat that was as good was a Sargent I had on an older BMW K100. The Corbin was well worth the price.

I've been hearing that Corbin's customer service is really bad.

I'd hate to get stuck with a problem and no response from Corbin.

I haven't heard back from Corbin after sending two emails with questions. I'm waiting for a response from C&C Cycles now. Peppa does the dual tour move you back?

Thanks

Another option is Lepera. They offer the foam program - they send you the seat that you picked out without the cover on it, you install it on the bike and determine how much you want to go back / down / add gel / etc. write down the notes and send it back to them. They do the mods and mail it back to you. I did it 3 yrs ago and got the seat to fit me exactly.

Default Corbin

Yes, the dual Tourer moves you back and down. I'm 6'3" and rode over to Corbin in Ormond Beach to try thier seats on my bike. I met with Sergio and originally wanted the Dual Tourer but ended up with the classic solo with the touring passenger pillion. I love the versatility of it! Don't email them. Call and ask for Sergio.
