I followed soos method for my UC. Only used 2 upfront, 2 around passenger peg mount, and 2 around back tire. Saw a fellow unloading his bike at the dealer and rear end had danced its way to the side of the trailer and messed up his bag. On a side note, I use Big Daddy Powertye ratchet straps. Very heavy duty and i like the built in soft tie.

I let the scoot ride the suspension.

That's fine. I prefer to not carry a dynamic load unless absolutely necessary.

On my 07 Ultra I use the Kuryakyn Tie Down Brackets, Teardrop style. Slickest thing I've used. Here's a link to a previous thread:

Default Thanks

Thanks for all the info. I picked up my trailer yesterday with the new modifications that are bike friendly. I'll try out the tie down methods this weekend.

Thanks again!
