At first glance, I was surprised that the Detachable 2 up Tour-Pak rack for the FLHTC (53246-09, $549) was so much more than that for the FLHT (53276-09, $179.95.)

The nice lady at the Old Glory HD's parts counter explained that the FLHTC kit has everything you need (rack, docking kit, antenna relocation) plus extras (a chrome license plate frame and strut covers.)

You get the #1 meal plus an apple pie and sundae--reminds me of how the Wendy's near me stopped offering the small sized meal and just started asking if I wanted Medium or Large. I digress.

She said you could buy the neccessary pieces for $398 if you didn't want the extras. If I did the look-up right, here are the part no's:

Looks like you nailed the #'s. I plan on looking into a digital antenna, and deleting the rear antenna altogether
