I intend to change my pipes next month.Right now i'm thnking rinehart TD or slipons.My question is both can be purchased in black or chrome.I wondering what you guys think how it would look with black considering the color scheme of my RKC.The slipons in black w/stock headers as well as the TD's.thanks

Actualy both,which is why i'm asking for opinons.Just not sure how black would actually look.

 

I think the black pipes woud look good. However, I think the chrome looks great! It all depends what you want the overall final look of your bike to be. Are you going to be changing more things later and making them black? If so, I would go with the black pipes. If you are keeping the chrome I think I would keep the chrome pipes to even out the look of your bike.
My son is changing everything on his to black eventually. So right now he has both.
Either way pick what will make you happy.
You can always change it later if you don't like it.

 

I would go 4 black i think it would complament the 2tone paint. But what the hell do i know

Honestly with the set up you have know I would go for chrome. I think the black pipes would look kind of lonely and out of place. Of course that;s just me. Balance is the key.

 

Chrome on a Classic. Black on a Street Glide.

 

Go Chrome, you can't go wrong with that choice!
