Underneath an 09

Where it crossed under the frame probably will be where HD plans to put the catalic converter in the furure or if they go watercooled the coolant tank.
Just a guess ;-)
Just a guess ;-)
Crawled ( looked) underneath a 09 UC yesterdat, it is remarkably clean. The crossover pipe is squished to about 1/2" ID so there is not much flow heading out the left side, has to be way less than 08 and prior. The cross channel beam is not hanging down so it will be easier to jack with the yellow jack. Soos's floor board extensons will have to be reengineered, please hurry Soos. The frame is much beefier, rear tire looks good as does the wide fender. The LED light in the fender tips look good. New rims are nice too. I think I convinced myself.

Thats more velocity....not more flow. Due to the exact reduction in pipe diameter the first post talked about its my opinion its more restricted than the 08's.....but then there is the 2>1>2 that does help quite a bit.

I saw and heard one a few days ago at the dealer. Actually sounded very nice for a stocker, quiet low rumble, will be great for those long distance rides.
The crossover design protruded very little if at all and also reminded me of the Vance & Hines power chamber design where two converged into one then split to two again. I felt equal volume of exhaust from both pipes. The whole bike sounded silky smooth like a sewing machine with very minimal engine noise. This was on an Ultra Classic.
Like in the previous posts, very little observable changes..frame at the neck looked really clean and uncluttered, 180 tire and wide rear fender looked sweet!!! Liked the reduced clutch pull and the LED rear fender light in the rear. The only thing the MOCO could have done to improve on that was to make that a stop light also.
I'm sold..ordering mine at the end of the month!
