I am an electrician (a very good one, which is why I knew where the short would be) but I am not a mechanic (which is one reason why I was thinking in car terms).

the other reason is, my post was at like 400am while on break at the shop (working my 11th straight 12 hour mid-night shift) so "sleepy" would be an understatement. I wasn't even thinking "motorcycle".

Don't really appreciate the harrassment but it was mostly all in good taste I suppose.

LOL, hell it was pretty fun I guess. Sure I would be cracking up if I read that from someone else lol. (I would assume he wasn't thinking motorcycle when he typed it though).

But anyway, you're welcome odd job. Glad to help. Ride safe.

comeon guys the alternator belt is located on all 02 to present twin cams rite next to the left side muffler bearing!!!!! HAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHA

NO NO, right beside the blinker fluid reservior on the touring models!!!
