Ooops, just read the link I gave you and saw that they have discontinued that chain linkage. Sorry about that, but maybe you can ask them to make them again? I would guess that it is hard for them to weld the chain links so they are solid and keep them straight at the same time.

i'd almost be afraid to ride too far with that for fear of a weak link, too many places to fail if they are all individiually welded...i think it looks cool as hell...maybe i'm wrong. what the hell do i know?

their ****** wire looks awesome!!! I have seen that chain somewhere else before and I cannot recall where... I will do some searching and let you know!

Adding to this tread - installed the heim joints on my stock shift rod. Problem I have is that the ball joint is loose enough to cause the thing to rattle and make noise - drives me crazy. Been forced to tie a rubber band around one joint end to stop the rattle. Almost like those heim joints need a same grease fitting. Anyone else have this problem and how to solve the noise rattle?
