Have a 08 sg build date 04/08.Was wondering if build date is late enough for this feature.Thanks

 

I actually got mine to shut off the rear today in traffic. A longer than normal red light, while sitting there, the Head Temp Sensor finally kicked in, injector shut down, bike shook a little more than normal, hit the throttle, injector kicks in. I can see where this may help with minimal fuel savings. When the injector shuts down, the rear jug acts like a air pump and cools the rear jug down. It will stumble a little at launch

 

2008 touring models with a build dates 12/3/07 and later will allow customers to enable and disable EITMS using twist grip roll-off, without the need for the Digital Technician.

My ulitra is an 08 build date 4/08 and I was able to to on the heat management. I am going to keep it on, I can't understand why anyone would want to shut it off? it only kicks in when needed.
