They just passed something similar in Green Bay. Anyone can file a written complaint and bam - you could get a ticket in the mail. The way I see it, you get a court date and chances are they will not take the time off to show up for court, case dismissed. Then, you have the afternoon to go riding since you took the day off.

 

You have to have a Decibel meter here in BC especially Downtown Vancouver. 92 is the preferred level. Vancouver Island allegedly is starting to do the same thing with "Integrated Traffic Enforcement Division". Never said anything to me when I went down Broadway with a bunch of cops following me as I set off nearly every single car alarm on the road...I was only running at 93 when I checked but the tone was echoing off the buildings...
