Default Selling RK. Street Glide or Road Glide next?

I have been pondering selling my RK custom and getting somthing with a fairing. Cant decide on the street glide or the road glide though. I would liike opinions from those that have had or rode both. Pros, cons, etc. Any thoughts? Thanks

No surprise here, but I would go Street Glide. The fairing gives better wind protection & you can add vented lowers to a SG.

Also, Chicks dig them

Travis,
I road a RK for years and have driven the Street Glide on several occassions. I bought a Road Glide after riding one. The angle on the windshield and fairing causes the air to move up and over and down behind the passenger. I have had little issue with being beat up by the wind because of the windshield angle. I also like the fact of having the fairing mounted to the frame and not the bars. That is a personal choice for me. Best advice is rent each, take them for a nice long ride and go from there.

DON'T SELL THAT ROAD KING!

I've told you before and I'll say it again. That is one of the nicest Road King's I have ever seen. I'm sure it's one of those that pictures don't do justice to.

Greg doesn't know what he's talking about. Chicks dig Road Glides. Plus, he doesn't even have a SG anymore. That thing is more Ultra than SG (and it's a nice one at that).

Road Glides rule, even Willie rides one and he can have all of them if he wanted. As far as women go, low and slammed might get them on it, but if their butt is sore what good can come from that. Buy a RG and the best seat you can get with a backrest and grips.

we are a 3 RG family
The Mrs. bike was in an accident and the insurance company has given her a SG to use while it is being fixed...There is no comparison between the bikes

If you are planning on putting on the miles,,,,,RG.
If you are just tooling around, the SG....

Having 2 would be nice but not really an option. The thought was to sell the King for enough to pay it off and have enough left for a plain jane bike that I could start customizing again. No more payment and still have a ride. Of course I may be in lala land wanting what I want for mine. Any offers?
