Thanks again for all the replies.I think I am going to go with the one from Kriss,it looks like it has the most features and easiest to install.

Tmart, you might want to check with your local and state laws too. A flashing headlight in Florida is illegal when moving on the public street, unless your an emergency vehicle. Just food for thought.

Have a look at this website. Headlight flashers are illegal, headlight modulators are not according to federal law in the USA and Canada. Modulators do not turn the headlight off like a flasher, they just reduce power and bring it up again, hence the modulation.

Print out a copy of the federal statutes on that website and carry them with you.
I have a signal dynamics unit that I will be installing very soon.

I stand corrected. Thanks for the info. I'll have to look into getting one for my bike.

Default Modulator = Good

I believe modulating your pair of passing lamps hence more frontal recognition signature. You can not use your passing lamps for light during the daytime so modulate em'. It lets other drivers range you better as there are 2 points of light. They work as I see them on the road & it catches my attention.

modulating your headlight is legal, modulating your fog or other driving lights is illegal...

Default difference between the two

when looking into this I found this:
Bikes use the same size 4 1/2" headlights as your FL. Bikes use a pair of headlights. There is a difference in the lens of a fog light ans a headlight. You can buy both type lenses for your 4 1/2" housings. floridian46 is absolutely correct as you need to change the lens to a headlight type sold HERE as well as many others vender's.
