Default SE pro heavy breather air cleaner kit?

2X the price of the round SE air cleaner kit for what? Any of you guys running one of these? I'm seeing many and kind of like the look, but is it worth it? I just wondered if someone had some insight or advise. Thanks in advance,

tmac

I am running one. The bike was setup with it when I bought it. Slightly less right knee room. Looks very cool, bagger "hot rod". Lowers will fit, but not with the glove box. Personal preference as to whether you like the look or not. As far as performance I have no data.

Thanks, I think it looks cool also. The knee room comment is helpfull. I'm running an FLHR so the box isn't an issue. I'm still on the fence. Thanks again.

Made a big change over the Stock breather and K&N Filter. You can hear it sucking air.

I have one on my RG. I think it gives it a different look. I dont really notice any less leg room, however I do notice more air sound when you get into the throttle thought.

I put one on a street glide with cams and was having some tuning issues. I thought it may have been due to the change in air cleaners so I took it off. I have it in a box downstairs and it has been run for only about 500 miles or so. I liked the look but went back to the big sucker. The SG is gone and I am not going to use it on my 103 build on my RG. I will give you a break on it if you are interested. Let me know...

It's mainly for looks.I had to extend the foot pegs to compensate for the knee issue.

V&H RK-3909 only sticks out an ad ded 1/4" plus fits under the stock cover.
I enjoy the stock look until I have to "show-up"

Installed one on my 08 RG, room is not an issue. I had installed with my 103 kit. I like it. Performance gains? Doubtful.
