Help Please No Email Notification of Threads

Change your email address to a web based email provider, such
as Yahoo, gmail, etc. It doesn't matter who, just one of those places where you read your email at a website. (NON SMTP/POP3)
There is a bug with the forum software that is causing the notification emails to go into a dumpster somewhere, but just the ones that
go to outlook/outlook express type clients. There are some people
that still get theirs through outlook, but very few.

Or, see this one for a cleaver workaround

I changed my address to a yahoo adress, and the emails now
work fine.
Hope this helps

I have two pop3 account that work in Outlook. The Comcast account will not work. Comcast has been known to be overly aggressive at blocking email and domains weather good or bad. I suspect Internet Brands is forwarding all outgoing mail through Gmail for anti-spam reasons which is causing this problem. If this is the case, and as you suggested, using a Gmail account should fix the email notification problem.

Here are some instructions for others that are having the same problem.

If you have mutable email accounts, have you tried them all? And yes, I agree it can be a pain in the butt.

And I can't get any gifs to work.
