Mine went down on my 08 EGS after only 800 miles, lost fuel pressure. My dealer put me on a loaner Ultra for two days till mine was fixed and this was before the recall/letter.I was pissed about the crappy running bike especially when me and the wife was on a trip when it started messing up but was all better when the main man over the dealership put me back on two wheels right away. The 08 EGS of mine is vibrating my sunglasses at stop signs and wondered EXACTLY which motor mount part number that I need to buy to help this???I read the posts on this subject but wasn't clear on the precise one to seek out.

My wife and I trailered our 105th Ultra up to Indiana for some 900+ mile local riding a couple of weeks ago. While in Terre Haute getting the bike unloaded at Wabash Valley H-D, The service counter guy says "Hey, we got 14 of those kits in. Do you want us to do yours?"......................Outstanding. If the dealership is worth a crap, they'll bend over backwards to accomodate you. I bought the bike at a dealership 600+ miles away.

we had a customer who didn't purchase his bike from us call and make a appointment for the recall. the day of his appointment (5 days later) it was raining ,he did show up but he still had to complain to several employees and other customers that "we scheduled him on a day it was raining". It has rained 17 out of 20 days in our area.

I didn't read all the posts, but one of the issues is timely scheduling of recall repairs.
Question, if it's a 1 hour repair, could you offer to pay the overtime for the tech to stay over an hour to do your bike? I know that 1-1/2 times the labor rate would be over $100, but would it be worth that to you to get back on the road? Just askin'.

Had mine replaced last weekend. Dealer said they have plenty of the new type canisters. Took about an hour.

Just got back from my dealer in Lakeland, Florida. Had them do the recall for me...guess what??? No problems, no gripes, no complaints. Dropped the bike off during my lunch break, picked it up at 500. They did the download for the EITMS as well. And washed my bike too. That and the peppermints I left with compensated for the rain I rode through on my way home. Anyway, wanted to say I am happy with my dealer and the MOCO think they both did a good job for me. Ride safe.
