Does anyone have any experience with the Quick Detach Luggage/Cooler Rack from eglidegoodies?

How can it be a cooler rack, when it is placed just above the exhaust?

 

That is what eglidegoodies calls it; not really interested in a Socratic Debate. OK?
Just want to to know if anyone has actual experience with the item.

 

I don't have any experience with it but was checking it out also.
2 thoughts I have, 1. cooler is usually one of the heaviest things I would
carry (ice and drinks) so the low mounting is a plus. 2. being a heavy load
and the cooler is mounted that far back what's it do to the handling of the
bike?

 

Not really interested in the marketing of it as a cooler chest carrier. Thinking more along the lines of extra luggage/camping equipment/etc when on extended cross-country trips. With low center of gravity, not concerned about handling characteristics as much as concerned about fumes permeating luggage.

 

I am also interested in this rack for extra luggage on cross country trips...It would seem like from the picture and using some type of hard case that would not be a problem with fumes..Just wish someone could give a product review. Have you ordered one?
