Every time I park my 2008 ultra it leaks gas out of overflow tube on the left side of the motorcycle. I have 1267 miles on it.Dealer said he didnt know but to bring it in.Anyone got any Ideas?&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; thnaks

 

Possibly you are over filling your gas tank.

 

+1. Especially if its hot.

 

Does it happen only with a full tank or all the time?

Its not leaking, just marking its spot.

 

rode 112 miles then parked 40 min later smelled gas and saw drop out of the tube

 

I dont overfill the tank .I had a bad splash last week. had fuel shell replaced.They put the old style back in. DONT GET ME STARTED ON THAT!!

I have an 08 Ultra as well and had kinda the same issue. After parking the bike, I would notice a small greyish/greasy spot (about the size of a quarter)&nbsp\\;which would appear under the fuel overflow tube on the left side of the bike. I contacted a couple different dealerships and was informed the leak was due to&nbsp\\;gas vapors coming from the fuel tank.&nbsp\\;The vapors were passing through the charcoal canister (part of the emissions system) and venting out the overflow tube. According to the dealership, this was normal during the break in prior. If the leak continued after the first service, there could&nbsp\\;be a problem with the charcoal canister. Lucky&nbsp\\;the leak stopped at about 900 miles and has not reappeared.&nbsp\\;
