Default Seat

I've got an a problem with the stock seat on my 07 Roadglide.&nbsp\\; When I ride and I go about an hour or so, or about 100 miles I really start getting uncomfortable.&nbsp\\; Its not my butt that starts to hurt but my hamstring area on the back thighs.&nbsp\\; I don't have this problem on my 98 Fatboy it's a really comfortable ride with the stock seat.&nbsp\\; I heard quite a few people talk about uncomfortable seats and their backside, again mine is more legs.&nbsp\\; I'm curious if anyone else gets pain here, and what type of seat they went with.&nbsp\\; I'm thinking that a more padded seat isn't the answer but maybe a flatter harder seat.&nbsp\\; My Fatboy seems flat and firm.&nbsp\\; Any thoughts let me know and what type of seat I should look at.

May be the OEM seat is a bit to wide for ya? I would call MeanCity Cycles and ask them as I'm sure theyll have the answer for ya. http://www.meancitycycles.com/

If you want firmer, consider a Corbin seat. I put a Dual Tour on my 07 Fat Boy. Firm yet comfortable and very well made.

are you riding with a wallet in your back pocket?&nbsp\\; that may cause the pain.

sounds like you are reaching for the handlebars. sit on bike, close eyes with hands in lap for 30 seconds. then reach forwrd and have a friend measure the distance to the bars. this is whats causing the ache

my rg seat was awful.&nbsp\\; I now have different handlebars (further back) and have the Sundowner seat.&nbsp\\; I can ride all day with no issues. &nbsp\\; whatever you end up with, u need a different seat.

Yeah I have a wallet but I don't think thats the problem since the pain is in the back of my upper thighs, hamsting area.&nbsp\\; I might try moving the handle bars back a couple of inches.&nbsp\\; I can see what you say about the reach.&nbsp\\; Thanks for the info.

Agree with Blueflht - problem is ride position not seat necessarily
