If you were going to do a brake replacement on an 2006 Ultra which way would you go and why?

If you have the coin, Brembo. The "why" should be obvious. Think Formula 1, NASCAR, IndyCar, etc and most exotic/high-performance vehicles worldwide.

I can personally testify to the effectiveness of Brembos on motorcycles. The brakes on my 08 Electra Glide are phenomenal!

Brembo, there is a reason they are on high end cars, bikes and race cars.

there is a big difference between Brembo calipers models and different mounting. The question should read which model of Brembo or HawgHalter et. al along with what size rotor! The rest is all BS

Of course you know that HD Brembos are non-Rebuildable. Difference in models&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; $150 ~ $3,000 which one?

Well, from someone who isn't here hawking his wares and who has no vested interest in what anyone buys, I'll stick with Brembos, rebuildable or not.

Their braking performance is very impressive and that's no BS.

I do not sell HawgHaulters but I have herad they are very good and high quality. I do know braking and I know what the difference is without relying on magazine and advertizements.

I have used stock HD Brembos with good results on a 06 Dyna dual disk conversion I made with much reduced stopping distance over 06 stock.
