It just kills me how these after-market suppliers sell 5 and 10 cent junk from China for hundreds of dollars just because they associate it with Harley.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; People wake up and stop buying this crap.
&nbsp\\;
The water bottle is crap, I agree. But the doors are great quality.

Yea, its hit or miss with this stuff.&nbsp\\; Roll the dice.&nbsp\\; That's why we need to talk about these kind of things on this forum.

I looked at those doors as well and would get them in a heartbeat......but $99.00 ??? jeez they can't cost nearly that much to make.

Give the guy a break, he is local to me and all is made here in the US.&nbsp\\; It is costly to invent something, patent it, manufacture and market it.&nbsp\\; I have something for baggers I am wanting to market but can't afford to.

I would say the water bottle is a bonus, you can buy a different one for a few bucks at walmart.

Doors are great!.. I put the compressor for my airhorn in the lower fairing &amp\\; wanted to be able to lock the door so it doesn't disappear. the water bottle was an added feature. Mine leaked, so I bought similar one with an insulated jacket at wallyworld.&nbsp\\; night before a ride, I 1/2 fill it with water, toss it in the freezer on it's side.&nbsp\\; Next morning I add more water &amp\\; go!

Default Hog Trough

I ordered the doors w/cupholder, when I mounted them the cup and bottle hit the bottom of my tank. I e-mailed carp. He e-mailed right back and said my lower fairing probably needed to be moved out, he was right. He e-mailed 2 more times checking if it worked, I hadn't checked the e-mail and didn't respond, he then called to find out. I was impressed. I just got back from a 2400 miler and the cupholder and cup worked great. The doors are worth the money in my opinion after fighting the HD flaps and pathetic snaps.

Swalter10,
Just for your information I looked for months for a insulated bottle made in USA.
But could not find them, had to go to china thats why insulated bottle is free.
As far as selling junk from china, I could have saved 50-70% if I had my Hog Trough produced in china. but theres no freeking way I'm having my product made over seas to sell in US. The Hog Trough is produced in AMERICA !!! If you would have quit bitching and called me on my cell is 913-231-7477. But then you would have nothing to complain about, I would have gladly sent you another cover or given you a full refund, even you had purchased Hog Trough from dealer. I believe in providing a customer service not just looking at the bottom line.

By the way if I had went through the distributors the price would be $159-$169 thats why I traveled 17,000 mile last year marketing my product, trying to keep cost affordable for everyone. Everybody gets thirsty!!
