Default Swing Arm "upgrade"

Has anyone "upgraded" their older touring bike with the "late model" (02 and up) swing arm.&nbsp\\; The newer arm is noticeably beefier and I know there have been issues with the older units cracking from high horsepower applications.&nbsp\\; I know there are kits available with bushings for the pivot shaft, but what about wheel bearings when using old style wheels and the newer 1" axle.&nbsp\\; I know I have to replace the rear brake caliper too because of the axle swap.&nbsp\\; Thanks&nbsp\\; Chris

You'll need the newer wheels. I used the sta-bo kit. I believe it was an 06 or 07 swingarm on an 01 road king.
